​Play in a Day is where students attend a WHOLE DAY class from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The day will start with the students playing a few acting games and then have a story read to them. The story is the play that the students will perform. Students will then be cast and assigned roles. There will be a lunch break and after lunch, the cast will begin to work on putting the show together. The cast will work on putting together costumes, set pieces, and props all in the minimal time they have together. Then, at 3:30 PM parents and guardians can watch the performance!

Ages 4th-9th grade

$75 per student

Each day, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM our artists will take a deep dive into Rogers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and more. They will learn to sing songs from the past, and learn classic Broadway moves with those songs.

This camp is great for all skill levels. You'll have fun and learn all about the classic hits with DMYAT!

Calling all future Set Designers!

Join DMYAT's Set Designer JP during Spring Break to learn everything there is about creating a set.

The artists will learn how to design a set using a script, build a set model, and learn and execute set painting techniques.

Learn the basics of puppeteering from Naima Nicholson-Lovejoy!  You will learn how to build hand puppets from simple items in your home and then bring them to life!
